The present investigation called "Curricular Management in the levels of reading comprehension in the pedagogical practice of the secondary education level of the Juan Pablo Vizcardo y Guzmán educational institution" of the Hunter district, 2018, is born from a shared desire to improve the management of the levels of reading comprehension of students from first to fifth of secondary education, through a viable and relevant improvement plan, which includes actions of reading comprehension strategies, monitoring, accompaniment and evaluation of pedagogical practice and collaborative work to optimize the curricular management of teachers that contributes to the achievement of institutional objectives and goals, directly related to school management commitments. The general objective is to strengthen curricular management in the levels of reading comprehension in teachers through an Implementation Plan of a professional learning community at the Secondary Education level of the Juan Pablo Vizcardo y Guzmán Educational Institution, in the Hunter-Arequipa district. . This is research applied to the educational field, responds to the qualitative approach and is framed in the non-experimental research-action design, whose universe is made up of 57 teachers, 38 from the Humanities Area and 19 from Education for Work, EPT. Its importance lies in its contribution to the improvement of educational quality, taking as a starting point the improvement of the curricular management of the levels of reading comprehension, added to an efficient monitoring, accompaniment and of the learning that is glimpsed in the levels of reading comprehension and effective collaborative work, together with a school climate that guarantees the integral development of students.
