Abstract: Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre los estilos de
aprendizaje y la competencia digital del discente en una universidad privada de
Huancayo. El tipo de diseño fue no experimental, transversal y correlacional no
causal. Los instrumentos empleados fueron el Cuestionario Honey-Alonso de
Estilos de Aprendizaje (CHAEA) y el Cuestionario para el Estudio de la
Competencia Digital del Alumnado de Educación Superior (CDAES). Participaron
de la investigación 192 discentes, los cuales fueron seleccionados aleatoriamente
siendo el 21.82% de ciencias de la empresa, el 18.33% de ciencias de la salud, el
6.5% de derecho y el 53.56% de ingeniería; el 44.83% fue de sexo femenino y el
55.71% de sexo masculino; y el 43.54% tenía entre 16 y 20 años, el 44.72% entre
21 y 25 años y el 11.74% fueron mayores a 26 años. Los resultados indicaron la
existencia de relación directa de los estilos de aprendizaje teórico y pragmático con
la competencia digital, siendo la intensidad baja.
This research aimed to determine the relationship between learning styles and digital competence of the student in a private university in Huancayo. The type of design was non-experimental, transversal and non-causal correlational. The instruments used were: the Honey-Alonso Learning Styles Questionnaire (CHAEA) and the Questionnaire for the Study of the Digital Competence of Higher Education Students (CDAES). 192 randomly selected students participated in the research, being 21.82% from business sciences, 18.33% from health sciences, 6.5% from law and 53.56% from engineering; 44.83% were female and 55.71% male; and 43.54% were between 16 and 20 years old, 44.72% between 21 and 25 years old and 11.74% were older than 26 years. The results indicated the existence of a direct relationship between theoretical and pragmatic learning styles with digital competence, with low intensity.
