This paper systematizes the good practice of CEBA Guillermo Mercado Barroso of Arequipa related to the development of communication skills and argumentative arguments of the fourth grade students of the Advanced Cycle, who finish their basic education (“Graduation”). The foundations and background of the experience, details of the route followed each year from 2008 to date, and concludes with the lessons learned processed within the framework of the Second Specialty of School Management with Pedagogical Leadership. This work also seeks that the experience can be replicated in other CEBA counting on the collegiate work of its teachers and with the pedagogical leadership of the principal. The heart of good practice is that students who graduate from CEBA receive in the month of July a research topic/problem that they develop with the help of of a teacher as advisor during the months of August and September, to be supported in front of a teaching jury and with the presence of his schoolmates in the month of october. The experience has implied the collegiate work of the teachers who function as a professional learning community for students in the last grade of the CEBA improve their research and investigation capacities, of academic expression and communication as well as argumentation and counter-argumentation which are qualities of the graduate profile. The methodology followed for the systematization It was carried out using the focus group technique, the semi-structured interview and the analysis documentary, which are related to the school management processes of planning school and curriculum management. At the end of this report, three lessons learned related to the importance of managerial leadership to strengthen innovative teachers, the importance of initiating students into the research culture and how it can be ensure that students know how to communicate and argue before a jury. a synthesis of the good practice is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCfnVUxDdFI.
