From the perspective of a pedagogical leader, in school management it was proposed to develop the Curriculum Management action plan for the application of methodological strategies for the development of competencies in the area of mathematics and the objective is to implement a management proposal that develops methodological strategies competence in the area of mathematics and for this the entire educational community is involved. The type of research is applied because it focuses on knowing to act and the research design is participatory (IAP), the population is made up of 18 teachers. The survey technique was used and the instrument was the interview and the instrument was the interview guide, which was chosen for its functionality and ease in collecting information. . As a final result, it was concluded that teachers have difficulties in implementing strategies to develop competencies in the area of mathematics, deficiencies in monitoring and accompaniment, and the lack of willingness to collaborate among teachers that lead to the result in learning in the area of mathematics. math is poor.
