Perfeccionismo y motivacion en estudiantes de la carrera de psicología de una universidad privada

Abstract

La presente investigación buscó establecer la relación entre el perfeccionismo y motivación en los estudiantes de la carrera de psicología de una universidad privada de Lima. El diseño fue no experimental, transversal y correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 274 estudiantes de ambos sexos, cuyas edades fluctúan entre los 17 y 24 años, distribuidos del primero al quinto semestre de los turnos mañana, tarde y noche, seleccionados mediante el muestreo probabilístico, aplicándose los instrumentos denominados Escala Multidimensional de Perfeccionismo y Escala de Motivación. Entre los principales resultados se halló que existe una distribución normal entre el perfeccionismo negativo y la motivación de logro, teniendo así la relación entre el perfeccionismo positivo con la motivación de poder, filiación y logro, existe correlación positiva moderada

The present research sought to establish the relation between improvement and motivation in the students of the psychology career of a private university of Lima. The design was non-experimental, transversal and correlational. The sample consisted of 274 students distributed from the first to the fifth semester of the morning, afternoon and evening shifts, applying the instruments called Multidimensional Scale of Perfectionism and Motivation Scale. Among the main results is that there is a normal distribution between the negative perfectionism and the motivation of achievement, thus having the relationship between the positive perfectionism with the motivation of power, filiation and achievement, there is moderate positive correlation.
