The objective of this research was to establish the relationship between the perception of the teaching curricular execution, the use of educational means and the academic performance in students of a military Public Technological Higher Education Institute. The design was non-experimental, transversal and non-causal correlational. The type of sampling was non-probabilistic for convenience and the sample consisted of 111 students: 22 women and 89 men, aged between 17 and 24 years, who were in the second year of training at a military Public Technological Higher Education Institute. The instruments used were the Questionnaire of perception of the teaching curricular execution; the Questionnaire on the use of educational media and the evaluation record for academic performance. The multiple correspondence analysis indicates that there is a significant relationship of 99.46%, the total inertia being .485 between the variables perception of teaching curricular execution, use of educational means and academic performance. Likewise, it was determined that the perception of curricular execution is significantly related to academic performance (rs = .223; p <.05) and with the use of educational means (rs = .459; p <.01). It is concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship, of a positive trend and of moderate magnitude between the perception of the teaching curricular execution, the use of educational means and the academic performance in students of a military Public Technological Higher Education Institute. The implications of the findings have been discussed.
