The present work of professional sufficiency presented below, aims to design proposals for the development of communication skills in 4 year old children in a public early education institution in Villa Maria del Triunfo. In the first chapter there is a brief description of the diagnosis and characteristics of the educational institution where this work will be put into practice. Likewise, the second chapter presents the bases of the socio-cognitive paradigms (Piaget, Ausubel and Brunner); socio-cultural contextual (Vygotsky and Feuerstein) and intelligence (Sternberg), which seek to explain how the mind works and the acquisition of new knowledge in children. Finally, the third chapter includes the systematic development of the annual program in the area of communication, as well as meaningful activities and materials that allow them to enjoy their learning. All this will be carried out in the unit programming, which is linked to each other, keeping a perfect logic and a close relationship with the competencies that allow the child to strengthen their communication skills personally and with their peer
