The results have given that the majority of teachers interviewed have theoretical information on the didactic process of comprehension of written texts and the rest have erroneous definitions, it is also observed that the application part is inadequate. The conclusion is that teachers need to strengthen their capacities through GIAS, workshops and training to improve their pedagogical practice in the didactic process of understanding written texts.
