Desarrollo psicomotor y lenguaje oral en niños de 4 años de una institución educativa de Chorrillos

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo conocer la relación entre desarrollo psicomotor y el lenguaje oral en niños de 4 años de una institución educativa de Chorrillos. Se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo y un diseño, no experimental, correlacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 51 estudiantes del nivel inicial de cuatro años, elegidos con un muestreo no probabilístico accidental; como instrumento se utilizó la Escala de Evaluación de la Psicomotricidad en Preescolar (EPP) y la prueba para la Evaluación del Lenguaje Oral (ELO). Los resultados evidenciaron una relación positiva entre ambas variables (r=.589). Se concluyó que existe relación directa y significativa entre el desarrollo psicomotor y el lenguaje oral, comprobándose esta relación en cada una de las dimensiones del Desarrollo psicomotor.

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between Psychomotor Development and Oral Language in 4-year-old children from an educational institution in Chorrillos. It was developed under a quantitative approach and a non-experimental, correlational design. The sample was made up of than 51, 4-year-old preschool students, chosen with accidental non-probabilistic sampling; The Preschool Psychomotor Evaluation Scale (EPP) and the Oral Language Evaluation Test (ELO) were used as instruments. The results showed a positive relationship between both variables (r=.589). It was concluded that there is a direct and significant relationship between Psychomotor Development and Oral Language, verifying this relationship in each of the dimensions of Psychomotor Development.
