The main objective was to determine the relationship between the family social climate and disruptive behavior in students of the Educational Institution "José Cayetano Heredia" of Catacaos. The design was not experimental transectional correlational non-causal. The sampling was intentional non-probabilistic of 280 students enrolled in the secondary level, of both sexes, between the ages of 11 to 17 years, and the sampling was simple random probabilistic. The Family Social Climate Scale and the Disruptive Behavior Questionnaire were applied. The results indicated that there are not significant differences between the family social climate and disruptive behavior (p > .05). On the other hand, it was found that the relationship dimension was significantly related to the relationship with partners (p < .01) and the development dimension was significantly related to norms (p < .05). Finally, no significant relationship was found between the stability dimension and norms, as well as in relation to peers (p > .05). The implications of the results have been discussed.
