The present work of professional sufficiency that is presented below, has the objective of designing a didactic proposal for the development of competencies in the Mathematic Area in the students of the third year of the high school of a private educational institution in Surco. For this reason, in the first chapter, the diagnosis, and characteristics of the institution that we took as a reference were taken into consideration, based on an analysis in relation to the development of the students' competencies in the area of Mathematic. To do this, the second chapter (theoretical framework) works according to the Sociocognitive Humanist Paradigm of Jean Piaget, David Ausubel and Jerome Bruner (cognitive), Lev Vygotsky and Reaven Feuerstein (social and cultural), Robert Sternberg, Martiniano Román, and Eloísa Diez (Intelligence Theory). Finally, the third chapter shows the curricular planning, didactic unit, learning sessions, worksheets, annexes, work materials, and various definitions that are considered necessary for a better understanding and development of this didactic proposal.
