Bases teóricas para el mejoramiento y ampliación del sistema de agua potable y Saneamiento - nuevo progreso de la chira – Agallpampa – Otuzco – la libertad, 2019

Abstract

Actualmente el Caserío de Nuevo Progreso La Chira, tiene una red de agua instalada hace más de veinte años por FONCODES. Respecto al saneamiento básico rural, el caserío de Nuevo Progreso La Chira, no cuenta con saneamiento básico las viviendas, tan solo cuentan con letrinas de hoyo seco, instaladas hace diez años por la Municipalidad Distrital de Agallpampa. El servicio de agua potable cuenta con JASS, anteriormente formaba un solo caserío con Paihual y contaba con una red abierta de tubería PVC SAP de ¾” de diámetro, que alimentaba a unas veinte viviendas ubicadas en adyacencia al camino vecinal LI 790. En el año 2010 el sector Nuevo Progreso La Chira, se independiza formando un nuevo caserío, por lo tanto, la población de este nuevo caserío, se ha incrementado y por ende la demanda del líquido elemento es mayor, quedando en obsolescencia y colapsada la red existente de agua potable, dado que no puede servir a toda la población. En resumen, este proyecto surge por la necesidad de solucionar el problema de agua y saneamiento básico del Caserío de Nuevo Progreso La Chira, lo cual ha conllevado a una baja calidad de vida de este sector, por el incremento de enfermedades gastrointestinales, dérmicas y de desnutrición, agravando la ya deteriorada economía de la población.

Currently the Caserío de New Progresso La Chira, has a water network installed more than twenty years ago by FONCODES. With regard to basic rural sanitation, the New Progresso La Chira hamlet does not have basic sanitation homes, they only have dry pit latrines, installed ten years ago by the Agallpampa District Municipality. The drinking water service has JASS, previously formed a single hamlet with Paihual and had an open network of SAP” diameter SAP PVC pipe, which fed about twenty homes located adjacent to the LI 790 neighborhood road. In the year 2010 the New Progresso La Chira sector, becomes independent forming a new hamlet, therefore the population of this new hamlet has increased and therefore the demand for the liquid element is greater, leaving the existing drinking water network obsolete and collapsing, since it cannot serve the entire population. In summary, this project arises from the need to solve the problem of water and basic sanitation of the Caserío de New Progresso La Chira, which has led to a low quality of life in this sector, due to the increase in gastrointestinal, dermal and malnutrition, aggravating the already deteriorated population economy.
