The present research project is carried out in a metal-mechanical company, which is mainly dedicated to the manufacturing process of boat parts, a great demand not fully met, which is related to the designs of jobs with disergonomic risks. which generates an economic impact of S/ 360,750, as part of the methodology used, the REBA method was used to carry out the ergonomic evaluation of the jobs. New job designs, staff training, and use of personal protective equipment were carried out, which contributed to the increase in production by 14.29% for the molding stage and 28.58% for the stage of mechanized. In addition to applying the other improvements, a redesign of the furnace system was needed for the foundry workstation, which brought about a substantial reduction from 100% to 27.28% of the operator's saturation in the emptying process and with the new furnace capacity increased foundry labor productivity from 2 screws/day to 4 screws/day. It was determined that with the improvements it is expected to meet all the unattended demand, which will have a total investment of S/.54,843.62 with an internal rate of return of 114%, a net present value of S/. 176,105.38 for a term of 5 years, being a very viable and profitable project for the company under study.
