The present investigation was carried out Trujillo, in the Province of Trujillo in the sectors where adobes are manufactured, such as San Isidro, La Esperanza, Viru, Simbal and Laredo, where it was evaluated to explain the influence of soil types and aggregates of CaO in the quality of the pressed adobe, on the dimensions of compression, durability and water resistance; For the realization of the thesis, a non- experimental design with a type of probabilistic sampling was used through the application of the respective formula to find the sample of 52 manufacturers belonging to the population of adobe manufacturers located in these sectors, the collection The technique of the survey was performed, the instrument was the application of the questionnaire with dichotomous and polycotomic items, to analyze the data, descriptive statistics were used. The adobe is the second material for the construction of houses in Trujillo, mainly in rural areas; With the latest natural phenomena it has been shown that they do not have a good response, causing failures, detachments, collapses and even human losses, because they do not have sufficient resistance to compression and because they do not have good durability against external agents. The following general conclusion was obtained: 92% of adobe manufacturers surveyed are of the opinion that if there is influence of the type of soil with Cao aggregates on the quality of pressed adobe made in the rural areas of the Province of Trujillo and so Only 8% think it does not influence
