The increasing cost of the stabilizing traditional agents and the need to possess the utilization of industrial and agricultural waste beneficial ends of engineering in La Libertad, stimulated the present investigation on the potential of stabilization of the ash of bagasse (CBCA) in clayey highly expansive soils. This work of investigation has as aim determine the influence of CBCA's addition in the stabilization of soils to level of sublow in Laredo's district. The laborator work implied the characterization of the soil, as well as CBCA's characterization with Diffraction of X-rays and Electronic Microscopy of Sweep. The preliminary investigation of the soil shows that it belongs to the class A-7-5 according to classification AASHTO. The soils in this class generally are poorly used in engineering. Atterberg's limits, swell frees, index of swell frees, index of swell frees, proctor modified and CBR was used to evaluate the properties of the stabilized soil. The land became stable with CBCA in a concentration staggered of 0 %, 5 %, 10 %, and 15 % in dry weight of the soil. The analysis of the results shows an improvement in the geotechnical properties of soil stabilized with CBCA, due to the fact that it reduces the index of plasticity, swelling and MDD with an increase in WTO and CBR with all the contents of higher CBCA. Departing from the mixture with the percentage of better engineering behavior there were designed sections of typical pavement, realizing a later economic comparative analysis demonstrating the saving in construction and maintenance of pavements with sublow stabilized with CBCA. Of this study discovered that the soil stabilized with CBCA expires with the minimal requirements established in the Manual of Roads: Soils, Geology, Geotecnia and Pavements of the MTC for his use like material of sublow in road construction.
