The present investigation was carried out in the city of Jaén, department of Cajamarca where it was related in what influences the paving on the street Antisuyo, for it is resorted to a design of pavement either flexible or rigid based on the AASHTO93 norm, information was collected based on observation guides and forms that were used to obtain information about the soil, traffic and road conditions. These data were processed using MTC manuals and the aforementioned standard, these results were used to calculate different pavement design alternatives in relation to the standard in order to improve the passability. We took into account the process of conformation, pavement design, estimation of growth rate, destructive factors and soil tests among other aspects. This investigation is not experimental -, because the variables are not controlled, taking as sample 3 blocks of Antisuyo Street, observation guides, forms, data collection instruments and statistical inference were used as a method of data analysis. The results obtained were a current state of roads and future using statistical inference, and thre alternatives of thickness for concrete paving and four alternative thicknesses for asphalt pavements. As a main conclusion it was obtained that the design of paving improved the passability in the street Antisuyo by 37% compared to its initial state.
