The present work called "Implementation of a Web System to Manage Metabolic and Nutritional Support and Improvement in the Quality of Care of Patients in the Critical Care Service in the HNDM", seeks a formal analysis of the procedures that are given in the processes of attention and management of Nutritional Metabolic Support and proposes the implementation of a web platform, which helps to revitalize them, which emphasizes the collection of parameters (data) used for research. In the area of the Critical Care Service, as in the case of the National Hospital Dos de Mayo, problems can be observed in the process of attention and management of the Metabolic Nutritional Support: The first one, times of attention to receive specialized nutritional therapy very cumbersome; This is due to the time lost in the review of the voluminous and disordered clinical histories of these patients in particular. The second problem has to do with the storage of data referring to the care of patients (medical records); These data are necessary to create the data banks to manage the requirements of the Nutritional Drug Therapy that are done in this área. For this, a web system has been implemented that allows the specialist to access the application from any place or device, the application admits the entry of specific data from a Clinical History, formulation of the type of nutrition that the patient will receive and the follow-up of the Therapies Nutritional Drug. With the generation of centralized information that generates the database of the application, statistical analysis can be performed that allows the specialist to sustain specialized Nutrition Therapy for patients of the Critical Care Service.
