Collection policies are specific provisions for carrying out coordinated actions applied pertinently to customers to recover credits, through a process of a good relationship with customers so that the company's assets are liquid assets, so that it is possible to fulfill its current obligations. Liquidity, known through the financial liquidity indicators, indicates the relationship between liquid assets par excellence, such as cash, outstanding receivables, debts and temporary or realizable investments, and current liabilities, which allows the company to know the ability to meet its short-term obligations and not fall into excessive expenses that require unnecessary financing that causes interest and other expenses. For these reasons, the present investigation is based on two variables, on the one hand the independent variable collection policies and on the other, liquidity and its purpose is to establish the degree of influence that collection policies have on liquidity in drug stores. Los Olivos district; through the efficient execution of collection strategies, for which information on the background and theories related to these issues has been obtained. To carry out the contrast of the objective and verification of the hypothesis, the study was validated with the opinion of experts consulted. The study was programmed with a quantitative, application-type, descriptive-explanatory, and non-experimental design with a cross-sectional approach. Sample checks were carried out with a population size of 24 people working in the areas under study in the drug stores of the Los Olivos district, 95% confidence level, proportion value 50% population and the statistical inference error limit was executed by Spearman correlation test (r), bivariate, significance level p-value (p) of 0.05; Likewise, it was possible to calculate the correlation of variables and their respective covariance, obtaining an r of 93.2%. The application of the survey and interview instrumented with the questionnaire and interview guide, respectively, in accordance with the objective, resulted in collection policies having significant liquidity interference in drug stores in the Los Olivos district; then, through the recommendations, the corresponding corrective actions will be carried out and will avoid committing again the deficiencies found, which will allow it to make the right decisions to achieve its objectives in the short, medium and long term; for which it must establish an organizational culture in which the work of all those involved is focused on streamlining the processes aimed at avoiding deficiencies in the management of collections and in this way maintaining an adequate level of liquidity.
