Teaching learning through information on the learning styles of university students has allowed a quasi-experiment to determine the significant differences in grades obtained from pre-test and post-test evaluations, based on the inclusion of media and / or Educational materials proposed by these learning styles of Felder Soloman. To carry out the work, the research problem was raised ¿Can significant differences be achieved in competency learning, before and after the application of means and / or materials suggested by the Learning Styles for the development of the statistical theme “Linear Regression Multiple ”of the course of Statistics II of the students of the professional career of Administration and International Business of the Private University of Huancayo“ Franklin Roosevelt ”, of the academic cycle IV of the academic semester year 2019 - II.?. To solve the problem, a quasi-experimental test was performed, the sample was made up of 42 students consisting of two groups (control and experimental), of 21 students each, chosen by non-random sampling. A pattern of learning styles has been determined for both groups as Active-Intuitive-Visual-Global, while for the experimental group the pattern of learning styles is defined as Active-Sensitive-Visual-Sequential, the latter has been used to determine the media and / or educational materials that were applied in class, on the experimental group. For the hypothesis test the tests were used to determine significant differences for two independent groups determined a Student's T value for independent samples of t = -2.099 with a bilateral significance of 4.4% (p = 0.044) that allows to test and validate the hypothesis research. Regarding the specific hypotheses, the bilateral significance has also yielded values of less than 5%, so the research hypotheses for them were validated.
