Costumbres y tradiciones de la festividad navideña en el distrito de Puños, provincia de Huamalíes - Huánuco - 2017

Abstract

El distrito de Puños - provincia de Huamalíes - Huánuco, cuenta con una limitada información documentada sobre las costumbres y tradiciones de la festividad navideña, perdiendo un rico legado de identidad cultural. El estudio de carácter cualitativo – etnográfico, propone como objetivo describir las costumbres y tradiciones antes, durante y después del desarrollo de la festividad navideña de esta comunidad para aportar con la conservación de su patrimonio cultural inmaterial. El escenario de estudio fue el distrito de Puños. Para la recolección de datos se emplearon las técnicas de la observación y entrevista, contando con la testimonial oral de los danzantes, músicos, ex mayordomos, danzantes y visitantes minuciosamente identificados. Como resultado de este trabajo de investigación hemos recopilado información de las costumbres y tradiciones antes, durante y después del desarrollo de la festividad navideña en el distrito de Puños - provincia de Huamalíes - Huánuco logrando realizar la transcripción y análisis de las melodías en partituras musicales apoyadas con el software Finale 2014. En este estudio se llegó a la conclusión de que las costumbres y tradiciones antes, durante y después del desarrollo de la festividad navideña, constituyen una manifestación perceptible de la identidad cultural, en donde la religiosidad popular se manifiesta en sus diferentes facetas; tanto como expresión de una energía que resiste y se apertura a la vez, ante la influencia

vii de la modernidad; y por otro lado como acto sinérgico que refuerza su sentido de pertenencia, pero a la vez evidencia la pérdida de sus tradiciones en las nuevas generaciones, lo que alarma y llama al trabajo colectivo para el rescate, difusión y preservación de sus costumbres y tradiciones.

The district of Puños - province of Huamalíes - Huánuco, has limited documented information about the customs and traditions of the Christmas holiday, losing a rich legacy of cultural identity. The study of qualitative - ethnographic character, aims to describe the customs and traditions before, during and after the development of the Christmas holiday of this community to contribute to the conservation of its intangible cultural heritage. The study scenario was the district of Puños. For data collection, observation and interview techniques were used, with the oral testimonial of dancers, musicians, former butlers, dancers and carefully identified visitors. As a result of this research work we have collected information on customs and traditions before, during and after the development of the Christmas holiday in the district of Puños - province of Huamalíes - Huánuco managing to perform the transcription and analysis of the melodies in supported musical scores with the Finale 2014 software. In this study it was concluded that customs and traditions before, during and after the development of the Christmas holiday, constitute a perceptible manifestation of cultural identity, where popular religiosity manifests itself in its different facets; both as an expression of an energy that resists and opens up at the same time, before the influence of modernity; and on the other hand as a synergistic act that reinforces their sense of belonging, but at the same time evidences the loss of their traditions in the new generations, which alarms and x calls for collective work for the rescue, diffusion and preservation of their customs and traditions
