The objective of this thesis was to determine the relationship between the usability of the web portal and customer satisfaction. A basic methodology was used with a non-experimental and correlational descriptive design with a cross-sectional cut. A sample of 120 customers was used to carry out the test, using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The research focused on exploring a line of work oriented to new technologies and uses in communication, as well as on the analysis of the user experience for customer loyalty. The theoretical bases included standards such as ISO 25000, ISO 25010, ISO 9001, ISO 9241, good practices, among others. As a general result, a strong relationship was estimated between the usability and customer satisfaction variables. Both obtained scores that were significantly linked. A direct and high correlation was observed, indicating that as the usability of the web portal increases, so does the level of customer satisfaction. Among the five dimensions evaluated with respect to usability, it was found that web portal appropriateness showed the strongest correlation (0.751) with the customer satisfaction score, followed by the web portal learning dimension with a correlation coefficient of 0.688. These two dimensions presented the highest levels of correlation or association with customer satisfaction.
