The objective of this research is create 4 paintings with the theme of religious syncretism of the pilgrimage to Sr. de Qoyllurit'i, the same ones that were the result of the graphic compilation of the symbolic elements that we could appreciate in the clothes of the dancers, guards and pilgrims; in the same way, a bibliographic study was carried out on the peculiarities of this pilgrimage that takes place at the foot of the snowy Qolqepunku. For the interpretive reading of each work, the iconographic and iconological method was used, which consists of the descriptive and classificatory study of the elements represented in the work, which is summarized in a critical discourse, likewise, the set of works is also deepened through the description and interpretation of different categories, as well as the relationship between them. in order to achieve its understanding by the general public. The research starts from the theory that both pre-Hispanic Andean rituals such as mountain worship, reverence at sunrise and offerings, are fused with contemporary Catholic cults such as veneration of the figure of Sr. de Qoyllurit´i, the celebration of the mass and the prayers to the crosses. Based on this premise and the interest generated by religious syncretism as an expression of our identity. As a conclusion we can affirm that the choice of this theme was positive due to the great variety of symbolic elements found and its innumerable aesthetic possibilities.
