This research aims to improve the creative expression of the students of the 3rd grade section "A'' of secondary school of the I.E.P. San Ignacio de Loyola de Sicuani through the design of masks, for this, an activity plan was developed that was carried out in class sessions, where some masks were initially shown as models of works of art, specifically models of masks from Paucartambinos artists, chiché served as motivation in the application sessions. Initially, we proceeded with the basic modeling of structures, where each participant was adapting and adhering elements to the pattern model, which are constituted as part of its creative expression. Subsequently, the work began with the external polished finishes and then each student, according to their previous requirements of the color sketches, proceeded to provide color, using brushes to give it finer finishes. It is at this stage the possibility of making visible the creative abilities of the students, after the application of the instrument and suitable work strategies for the design of the elaboration of zoomorphic masks, the results that were evidenced in the final exhibition in the art gallery "Armando Medina Álvarez" of the UNDQT - Decentralized Headquarters of Checacupe.
