In this research work, an analysis is made regarding the dosage of the inputs involved in the preparation of shotcrete, because it is verified by the tests carried out on the sampled shotcrete specimens, some resistances to simple compression that exceed in a range of 77% to 89% over the design requirement F'c=300 kg/cm2 established by Catalina Huanca for its operations; This leads us to reflect on whether the amount of cement is adequate or whether it is being used in excess, thus increasing the costs of support. First, an analysis of the shotcrete inputs is carried out, being the aggregate one of the components with the greatest variability in terms of its characteristics, for which reason standardized tests are carried out to control it and thus obtain a suitable aggregate for the preparation of a quality shotcrete. Subsequently, a new dosage is elaborated based on the reduction of 20 kg of cement with respect to the current dosage for a design F'c=300 kg/cm2. With this variation of cement, the quantities of the other inputs also vary, which must be calculated according to the proportions specified in the research. Tests are performed on this new shotcrete dosage, which must comply with ASTM norms, ACI norms, NTP norms, procedures and standards. The results of these tests comply with the requirements and standards requested by Catalina Huanca, obtaining an early resistance greater than 2 Mpa three hours after the shotcrete was cast; a final resistance at 28 days that exceeds 300 kg/cm2 and a slump that in time remains above 6“ before 2 hours. Finally, an analysis of the costs with the change in the dosage of shotcrete is made, obtaining a reduction in costs of $ 22,688.40 in the first quarter. Making a projection for 1 year, a reduction of $ 90,753.60 in maintenance costs will be obtained.
