In the present research three econometric models have been applied: SARIMA, SARIMAX and VAR; the first two, based on the Box-Jenkins and Tiao methodology and the third on the Autoregressive Vector Model, due to the feedback between the variables of the same, to determine the predictive capacity of the expenditure execution model, by the financing source of directly collected resources of the National University of Engineering monthly data of current revenue collection and expenditure execution for the period from January 2010 to December 2018 of the mentioned institution were used. In estimation and predictive ability, the SARIMA model gave a better fit with a mean squared error (MSE) of 2.904 compared to the SARIMAX and VAR models of 3.627 and 4.972, respectively. This is supported by the fact that the execution of expenditures has a seasonality in the procurement of goods and services during the fiscal year according to Law No. 30225 - State Contracting Law, Article 20 and Legislative Decree No. 1439.
