In this thesis, a technical evaluatlon wlll be carried out on the Máximum Recovery Efficlency (MER), which is presented according to D.S. 032-2004 EM art: 209, 210, 213, 214 and 222. SAPET makes the best efforts to comply with what the standard indicates. It carries out exploitation operations of the reservoirs of Block VII/VI, analyzes its productive behavior, carries out geology and engineering studies, etc. In order to produce the reservoir efficiently and achieve maximum efficient recovery. The SAPET company makes every effort to conduct hydrocarbon exploitation operations by applying new procedures to achieve optimal exploitation of the reservoirs (maximum technical-economic production), with special care in protecting the environment. Block VII/VI belongs to the Talara basin, which tectonically shows a very complex history, linked to subduction phenomena related to tectonic and sedimentary processes in forearc basins, with mainly extensional phenomena that generate intense distensive faulting, where normal faults have acted as permeability barriers and affecting the continuity of the reservoirs. The main producing reservoirs in these Lots are: Basal Salina, Mogollón, Pariñas, Hélico, Terebrátula, and Verdun.
