The study was carried out in the Anama project of Anabi S.A.C. It is located in the District of Huaquirca, Province of Antabamba, in the department of Apurimac. Anama is a high sulfidation epithermal deposit, located in volcanic rocks of andesitic and dacitic composition. Achieving cost improvement is subject to process improvement and possible sources of error. At this point, the objective set in this research work included reducing the discrepancies in grade values in the same sampling area based on updating the quality assurance and control protocols, for which, the variation of sampling grades in the drilling meshes, grades of the control samples introduced, in addition to historical grades by bench and drilling projects, information that came from historical sampling data of the Anama project. A poor quality assurance and control protocol was identified with sampling errors that reached up to 23.1%. For this reason, the protocol was updated that covered the entire sampling process, starting from the validation of the drilling meshes, definition of the optimal number of samples, constant supervision and training of the sampling personnel, and finally a correct statistical analysis of the results. , which guaranteed reliable results and reduced the discrepancies obtained in the analysis of original and duplicate samples in the same sampling area. This was done in three stages; Starting from the collection of historical data, the information was processed which included the systematization of the information obtaining optimal data with errors of 0%, achieved through statistical techniques. Finally, the results of the laws were synthesized and captured using graphs and tables, identifying opportunities for improvement for the QA/QC protocol.
