The present work is developed for the civil works that were used for the construction of the electrical substation of the Tambomayo mining unit, located at 4,874.00 meters above sea level, in the province of Caylloma, department of Arequipa. The project includes the construction of the Tambomayo Electric Sub-Station in a total area of 1,710 m2 for the implementation of a Keyyard and a Control Room with reinforced concrete infrastructure, with the capacity to receive the Derivation located between the structures. 116 and 117 of the 138 kV Callalli – Ares Transmission Line. The scopes, calculations and designs were resolved in concrete structures, subject to the National Building Regulations, which under its regulatory framework applied the technical standards referring to Reinforced Concrete (E060), Loads (E020), Soils and Foundations (E050), Masonry (E070) and Seismic Resistant Design (E030). With the aim of reducing execution times, different techniques were applied to the conventional ones for the lightened slab and perimeter fence items. This paper shows the calculations that are resolved in spreadsheets and that with the help of the SAFE program, their results were compared for the development of lightened slab and foundations for electromechanical equipment. The components for the conformation of the technical file of the electrical substation, is subject to the programming of the national connection programmed by the COES SEIN (Committee for Economic Operation of the National Interconnected System), entity that regulates and programs the National Energy System; For this reason, taking as a parameter the programming of the COES SEIN, the deadlines were defined to comply with the interconnection to the national energy system. In the planning of the construction process, the good practices in project management, carried out by the contractor company through its integrated management system, were taken into account as a reference framework. And the results of work control generated in said project are described. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations for the project are presented, according to the specific objectives set and that can be used for similar works, adapting them to their needs.
