This thesis focuses on analyzing the processes of sedimentation and vertical erosion in 07 sedimentation banks located in the lower section of the Huallaga River by two-dimensional fluviomorphology numerical models. For this purpose, the physical characterization of the sedimentation banks is developed, the characterization of the sedimentation and vertical erosion processes, the construction and calibration of the fluviomorphology model and the analysis of temporal variation throughout the simulated period will be perfected. For the physical characterization of the evolution of sedimentation banks the bathymetry of the month of March 2018 (flood season) and August 2018 (empty season) were compared in areas where there is the same area of information, likewise, the influence of geological and geomorphological characteristics on erosion and sedimentation processes was evaluated. It was observed that: a) In the sectors where the banks present outcrops of tertiary sedimentary rocks (areas of resistant material or low erodibility), vertical erosion is greater than in the sectors where the material of the banks is composed of alluvial material of a quaternary nature, b) In the sectors with the presence of lateral contributors, sedimentation processes occur, c) In the sectors of lesser curvature located between two curves, sedimentation processes occur, d) In general, the eroded sectors are associated with the formation of a new navigation alignment while the old alignment are sedimented. The TELEMAC-SISYPHE model was used for the construction and calibration of the fluviomorphology models of the sections of the Huallaga River that contain the simulated of sedimentation banks. The model was built with the information from the bathymetry of March 2018 and the calibration was carried out with the information of the bathymetry of August 2018. The implementation considered the determination of the boundary conditions of the model and calibration parameters at the analysis level of sections obtained every 250 meters and calculation of sediment volume every 1 km. It was observed that the models adequately represented the observed erosion and sedimentation trends and that the simulations showed correlation coefficients R between 0.64 and 0.86 between the mean bed variations observed in the analyzed sections and the corresponding simulated ones. However, it was observed that in some cases the model intensified the magnitudes of erosion and sedimentation observed. The analysis of the temporal variation showed that: a) The model reproduces the expected trends of the temporal variation of the bedforms, observing that the largest bedforms are generated in the months of March, April, May and June (months of flows of greater contribution) and in the months of July, August and September (flows of lower registers) the bottom shapes decrease in size. b) Along the main direction, the sedimentation of the channel predominates in the months of greatest flow, in the final months, the formation of erosion zones was observed, which indicated the formation of the new navigation alignment. c) In some sedimentation banks, it was observed that as the flow decreases, the river's thalweg is redirected, changing the navigation alignment for the month of August; however, in another sedimentation banks, it was observed that the thalweg changed from a triangular hydraulic box to a rectangular one, reducing the hydraulic box due to the predominant curvature.
