Currently, the naval metal-mechanic industry in Peru represents a sector of great activity and economic development for the country. This sector, specialized in the construction of ships, requires new methodologies that can be developed, a better analysis of the construction operations applied. Consequently, the team that executes the project must be qualified to effectively implement the activities requested by the particular client. In this sense, the present research work has the main purpose of improving productivity in the modular construction of a multipurpose ship, based on the Lean Construction methodology, through its General Activity Level (NGA) and Balance Sheet (CB) tools. , used in the first stage of the manufacture of the modules. In the development of the research, the analysis of the construction process demonstrated in the modular construction of ships was carried out, in order to recognize and identify the productive, contributory and non-contributory activities. Obtaining, in this way, an evaluation of the level of real activity of human resources oriented to construction operations. With which, proposals were developed to improve productivity. In addition, the case study was developed for module manufacturing projects, which, together with the experience of the contractor study company, made these projects ideal for this research work. Finally, the results obtained were analyzed, being able to verify that the proposed proposals improved the levels of real activity, taking into account the various limitations that prompted this type of special projects, carried out in the military shipbuilding of Peru.
