Nowadays, environmental pollution and the depletion of natural resources are the main problems worldwide. The aforementioned is reflected in the construction sector, since there is a need to satisfy society with new infrastructure such as housing construction, remodeling of buildings, improvement of road infrastructure, etc. As a result, there is an increased demand for natural resources, which leads to inappropriate use and environmental contamination associated with solid waste generated during construction that ends up being disposed of in unauthorized landfills without proper control and analysis of its hazardousness or recyclability. The district of Pueblo Libre is no stranger to the previously described reality, even more so when it is a central district that is attractive for the construction of real estate projects, especially Multifamily Buildings of 5 floors or more. This research deals with the analysis of solid waste management during the construction of the Alba Multifamily Building in the district of Pueblo Libre, resulting in a proposed solution to minimize the negative environmental, social and economic impact, maximize the percentage of reuse of solid waste generated and reduce the carbon footprint associated with such waste, which involves a series of processes from the collection phase of solid waste to its final disposal. Initially, a quantification methodology is stipulated according to each type of solid waste generated by the different activities of the project. Subsequently, the Conesa method is used to evaluate the environmental, social and economic impact of solid waste. Likewise, the carbon footprint is calculated by type of waste, which, together with the impact assessment, allows us to determine the solid waste with the greatest impact on the Alba Project. Recycling and/or reuse alternatives are then established to estimate the percentage of solid waste that can be reused and the percentage of the carbon footprint that can be reduced. Later, a Look Ahead schedule is implemented to determine the amount of solid waste generated per week, which allows for better monitoring and control. From this, the cost of collection and placement at the collection point of the most common solid waste is calculated. Similarly, the use of ecological containers is proposed for the transportation and final disposal of solid waste. Finally, the total cost of the solution is determined from the collection of solid waste to its final disposal.
