The quality of electrical Services refers to the set of technical and commercial characteristics, inherent to the electrical Service required by users and competent administrative bodies, to avoid direct physical discomfort, dissatisfaction, and economic damage to users. The Peruvian regulation referring to the aspects of quality of the electric service required for the regulated market is the “Norma Técnica de Calidad de los Servicios Eléctricos“ (NTCSE) and the “Organismo Supervisor de la Inversión en Energía y Minería” (OSINERGMIN) is the entity in charge of supervising it. This quality of the electrical service can be harshly evaluated in the characteristics of Product Quality (wave quality), Quality of Supply (continuity of the electrical service) and customer service (relationship of the company providing the electrical service with the user which service contract). In the regulated market, the quality of supply is the most important to consider because it is easily perceived by the user, therefore, the NTCSE establishes procedures and indicators to evaluate it. In the case of generating companies, the supply quality indicators established in the NTCSE (for the regulated market) are evaluated at the delivery points Generator - Distributor, and a series of procedures must be followed to validate and process the information that send the generating companies and determine their respective indicators.
