The present times require a current architecture; inspired by the foundations of functionalism and rationalism. The architecture of our times goes hand in hand with the development of new processes and technologies. However, every corner of the planet is a world apart, with particular characteristics in terms of culture and climate. Architecture does not escape this premise. The architecture of our cities are an example of modernity and avant garden. Therefore, in it we find the most representative and emblematic buildings of the region. I do not intend to escape this concept; however, it is necessary to provide this architecture with identity and a sense of belonging to the place. Doing architecture does not mean copying models developed in other latitudes, with another reality, but, taking knowledge of the context and environmental conditions and from there, proposing alternatives using references, and examples of architecture adapted to the place.
