In this thesis, the influence of the high temperatures of the drilling fronts and their relationship with the premature and spontaneous detonations of the initiation system called Fanel/Nonel, carried out in an underground mining company in southern Peru, was analyzed. The development of the temperature measurement tests was carried out with the support of the drilling and blasting area. With a total of 36 measurements, taking as an independent variable the use of the same “Fanel“ initiation system applied in different tasks in which the measurements were made inside and outside the drill. Likewise, these temperature values were contrasted in a test carried out outside the mining environment in which it was shown that the increase in temperature initiated the fanel system.
