The objective of this research work is to design a high-speed conveyor belt to increase the production of milk jars in a food company. The analysis, calculation and mechanical design of the conveyor is carried out. The methodology of the present investigation from the point of view of approach is quantitative, according to the scope it is of a correlational type and the design of the investigation is non-experimental. The initial data to develop the research is obtained from objective historical data of the Nestlé Perú S.A. plant. Once the information of the product to be transported and the historical production flow (500 jars per minute) have been identified, the respective calculations and analysis are carried out at the company CR Industrial E.I.R.L. Currently, belt or chain conveyor systems are widely used in the industry in general, due to the great advantages available, variety of width, length, commercial product, ease of maintenance, low friction. This research is aimed at the food industry, particularly for companies that produce milk in jars, such as Nestlé, Gloria, Laive and other companies. The main result of the investigation is the design of a conveyor to achieve a production of 615 jars per minute (linear speed of 80 m/min), for which analysis, calculations, and methodology are carried out to identify the appropriate conveyor components.
