This paper mention agribusiness and its level “of impact on air quality in the district of Paramonga. The interest in determining whether the burning of open-pit cane has an impact on air quality is of interest to the people who live in this district, as well as to the same company that is related - Agro Industrial Paramonga S.A.A. - which for a long time has been dedicated to the last extraction of sugar cane manually, although this practice has changed over the years. The general objective of the research has been to identify whether the emissions of sol id particles (soot), due to open-pit burning, cause deterioration in the air of the Paramonga district. For this, the following formulation was made: Are the emissions of so lid particles (soot), due to open-pit buming, which cause deterioration in the air? Given this formulation, the following hypothesis was raised: In the district of Paramonga, open-pit burning of sugar cane deteriorates air quality. To answer this question, a non-experimental methodology is proposed, since there was no manipulation of information. Then, the variables to be considered will be completely independent and unalterable, without any type of personal influence that may condition the results. The data used in this study, such as the field of land and production, which are obtained from the company's annual reports (201 O - 2018); while, on the part of the pollution indices, there are official documents from the Ministry of the Environment. For the analysis of the variables, the Pearson coefficient was used, which shows that there is a correlation between the amount of sugar produced and the increase in the amount of arable land; However, the values studied show that the emissions of solid particles are within the ranges established by the regular entity, the Ministry of the Environment. Consequently, it is shown that, although there is a high correlation between emissions and what is produced, it cannot be mentioned that this generates a deterioration in air quality.
