This Thesis is divided into 7 main chapters and one of Conclusions and Recommendations. Chapter l. lt describes the generalities of the Thesis such as: background, formulation of the problem, research justification, objectives and hypothesis statement. Chapter II. The theoretical framework is developed; we review some definitions of terms used within the QNQC programs. Definitions of the main mining codes Chapter III. The characteristics of the study zone are described. Location and access routes of the Palcawanka project. Regional geology based on the Geology of the Huancavelica quadrangle 26-n, INGEMMET. Development of the tectonic phases, development of the local geology, economic geology of the ore deposit and some complementary works. Chapter IV. Quality assurance (QA) is developed in more detail within the geological process for obtaining, transporting, and storing geochemical samples. Also, a comparation of advantages and difficulties for the QNQC application. Chapter V. Quality control (QC) is developed in more detail. Charts and tests used for precision, accuracy and contamination. Chapter VI. The implementation of the sampling procedure is developed. Objectives and flow chart of the implementation of the sampling procedure. Also, the process of obtaining the sample and the chain of custody. Chapter VI 1. This chapter discusses the results obtained through the graphs for the accuracy, precision and contamination of the elements Ag, Zn, Pb and Cu. Finally, in Conclusions and recommendations, are presented the final considerations obtained about the study.
