Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (SDAI) are designed to detect the unwanted presence of fire by monitoring environmental changes associated with combustion, through the use of fire detectors. This work proposes to reduce the impact of possible fires in a B5 Diesel and Gasohol 84 fuel supply plant, through the design and configuration of an SDAI; thus, solving the problem of reducing the risk of fire and with it the impact on lives and infrastructure of the plant. When the system detects the presence of fire, it notifies the occupants of the plant (activating alarm notifiers) in order to evacuate to safer areas. Subsequently, the coverage of fire detection is evaluated as well as the control of fire risk with the Meseri method, as it is the most appropriate based on the information available. At the end of the work, the Design of the Fire Detection and Alarm System obtained must be shown, detailing its architecture, the type of devices chosen, their location according to current regulations in force, the plans of the loop diagrams of the SDAI and the data sheets of the devices that comprise it.
