University higher education contemplates the last phase of the academic learning process at a professional level for any person. During the employability process of graduates, higher education is a crucial factor for access to better opportunities in the national and international productive sector. Therefore, the continuous improvement of Peruvian education is a recurring topic of discussion and public interest that motivates multiple reforms at various levels. Thus, many points for improvement have been identified in these educational institutions over the years so that teaching is provided with quality. Furthermore, the global COVID-19 pandemic has exposed a profound need to modernize and restructure the ways in which education is delivered. For example, the lack of digital infrastructure and the implementation of virtual educational platforms delayed university education at the beginning of the pandemic, generating great dissatisfaction among the student community throughout the country. On the other hand, in the scientific field, the low percentage of teachers and students with a solid scientific background limits the contributions that the university -as an institution- makes to the development of technology and science in Peru. In the specific context of the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, a favorable and related environment has been identified for the implementation of this project in the laboratories of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (FIM) of the UNI. Taking into account the training of the students of the Mechatronics Engineering career in control theory issues, the motivation of the project is based on the consolidation of the teaching of the courses taught related to this scientific field. Regarding the selected control problem, the networked control has generated a lot of interest in the scientific community due to various causes related to challenging delays, loss of complements and bandwidth limitation where traditional control techniques such as PID are limited by its modeling. For this reason, the present work proposes the design of a novel teaching module for network cooperative control of dynamic systems based on Lyapunov functions for the improvement of teaching in control and automation laboratories at FIM.
