The San Cristobal Field is located in the department of Junín, district and province of Yauli, at an altitude that varies between 4500 and 4750 meters above sea level. On the eastern flank of the Western Cordillera of the central Andes of Peru. The study area has vetiform or filonean mineral deposits of the hydrothermal polymetallic type. The mineralization is located in narrow veins filled with preexisting fractures, constituted by several mineralizing pulses controlled mainly by their precipitation temperatures and which occur as a consequence of compressive strain stresses related to the Andean tectonics. This mineralization is located in the Excelsior phyllites that dominate the lithological environment. The Split 658 vein has a strike from N37 º E to N40 º E, which crosses the Excelsior phyllites. Its dip varies from 70 º SE to 55 º SE. It is a hydrothermal filling structure that in its mineralogical composition presents the following minerals: Blende or sphalerite (SZn), Galena (SPb), Chalcopyriie (S2 Cu Fe), Pyrite (S2 Fe), Pyrrhotite. (Fe (1-x) S), Quartz SiO2, Carbonates (CO3 CaX), Siderite (CO3 Fe). The San Cristobal mine has measured, indicated, inferred resources in the Sp 658 vein until December 2019: 5.615 million tons with power and grades of 2.26m, 0.18% CU, 1.26% Pb, 8.12% Zn and 3.89 OzAg. The results. of the exploration with diamond drill holes during the years 2018 and 2019 in the area of deepening of Veta SP 658 yielded positive values and increased resources. For a better interpretation of the continuity of economic mineralization, and therefore continue with the exploration of this structure at greater depth, an analysis of Isovalues and Metallic Ratios of Veta Sp 658 was carried out. Where it was determined that the greatest mineralization contrast occurs between Zn/Cu, Pb/Cu and Ag /Cu, which infers higher temperature mineralization at depth, in the central part of the site of vein SP 658, between levels 3600 and 4200, there is a great potential for increase in resources at these levels and at a greater depth.
