In the current situation in which we find ourselves, where the price of metals is highly devalued worldwide (Silver: 16.90 USD / OZ, Lead: 1,746.13 USD / TON USD, Zinc: 1,850.86 USD / TON), where the activity mining is affected by economic, environmental and social problems; the promotion of mining activity in our country is of vital importance. This thesis entitled “ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION OF THE MARÍA INES BRANCH CUTTING FOR THE EXPLOITATION BY SUB LEVEL STOPING IN THE VINCHOS MINE“, involves technical and economic criteria aimed at the continuity of the exploitation of the Tajo Ramal María Inés, as an alternative solution to the problem of stability, safety of the pit and economic profitability. It is based on the analysis of the geological and geometric conditions of the mineralized body, the geomechanical analysis of the Tajo Ramal María Inés and the economic evaluation; as a basis for technically determining the continuity of the exploitation of the pit. The sub Level Stoping exploitation design (Long hole application) based on the Pearse mathematical model to determine the (Burden = 1.2 mt and Spacing = 1.2 mt) and mesh design in fan holes (Datamine software: 72 sections); factors such as dilution (18%) and mineral value (130.14 USD / MT) are determined. The economic estimate starts by establishing the fixed costs (33.10 USD / MT) and variable costs (43.58 USD / MT) involved in the exploitation of the pit, based on these costs, the economic evaluation is carried out, obtaining the profit margin of (52.98 USD / MT) generated by the exploitation, it should be noted that time is a factor that affects economic criteria such as (NPV = 6, 563,573.96 USD ) and (IRR = 88.0%) whose analysis and determination will finally make it possible to economically define the continuity of the Tajo Ramal María Inés exploitation project.
