This master's thesis is focused on the improvement of procedures in the exploitation of narrow veins involving parameters such as: dilution the value of the mineral and productivity. In Chapter 1, we discuss the need to implement a technical procedure to improve the quality of the ore mined and reduce dilution, the rationale and need for this research work, as well as the identification of dependent and independent variables. As well as national and international research background. In Chapter 2, it deals with the theoretical and conceptual framework that support the thesis. The classic concepts of dilution are explained, as well as how to operationally pose and efficiently apply the resue mining method in narrow veins. In Chapter 3, the research methodology to be used to achieve the expected results is mentioned. Finally, Chapter 4 covers the results obtained from the implementation of the process improvement procedure, controlling dilution, establishing sequence and cycle of mining, order and cleanliness in the work. It is possible to improve the quality of the mineral from 0.237 Oz Au / Tc to 0.320 Oz Au / Tc, that is, it increased by 35.59%. Likewise, productivity increases from 0.7189 TC / H-Gdia to 1.1737 TC / H-Gdia, that is, there is an increase of 63.26%
