In Peru there is a great deficit of road infrastructure since the departments, cities and towns are distributed by a complex topography due to the variety of climates and cultures, as for the city of Lima, the vehicular chaos increases the cost of living and declines quality of life, which is why it is of utmost importance to obtain an improvement on high-traffic roads. A highly trafficked area is the southern part of Lima, which includes Avenida Benavides and its connection with the Panamericana Sur, which have great traffic congestion at peak hours, for this reason the construction of the Benavides Tunnel was carried out, which is part of Benavides Vehicle Interchange Projects and the Benavides Viaduct Project whose objective is to improve vehicular traffic on Avenida Benavides and the surrounding streets together with the decongestion of vehicles that travel on the Panamericana Sur towards San Juan de Miraflores. The work in question is studied in its different stages of planning, programming and construction which is explained in five chapters, the first chapter briefly and generalized the similar works of vehicular traffic as well as the location and problems in the area of high vehicular flow, in the second chapter the engineering fundamentals used in modernity are presented such as road time planning, Gantt diagram and scheduling of works with the last planner system, in the third chapter the underground and surface works are identified, in terms of to its geometric shape as well as its location within the project, together with the initial planning and its planning by sketches in the construction, in chapter IV the planning, programming and monitoring of the project is presented with the approach of the Last Planner System, and the use of Time - Path planning tools and progress control graphic and finally the execution of the processes are presented in chapter V in this chapter the construction sequences and considerations to be taken during their construction are detailed.
