This professional sufficiency report describes the problems presented by a telecommunications company due to the low number of base stations implemented in its LTE network in 2.3 GHz frequency band. Consequently, there is only coverage in some areas of Metropolitan Lima, preventing market expansion. Another problem described in the report is the capacity saturation of some of the base stations due to increased users on the network. Consequently, sales are blocked to ensure the minimum accepted speed. The solution to the problem is to implement Massive MIMO technology in the existing fixed LTE network and using the company's mobile network infrastructure for the implementation of new base stations. The Massive MIMO technology allows for efficient use of the frequency spectrum. The project's results are to offer home internet service, improve existing service plans offered in the business market, expand the market in areas where the service was not previously marketed, and stay at the forefront of mobile technology.
