The project to develop with the sublevel stoping method was raised due to the need to improve low productivity and high costs, as well as reduce the accident rate due to wood handling, which represented the highest rate in minor accidents and disabling. The analysis of the project was carried out in 2015 at RETAMAS gold mine, where the ore is exploited with conventional and mechanized methods, cut and fill with Jack leg and winch, and Ascendant cut and fill with jumbo and scoop respectively. Thus, at level 2670, the Daniela strike was cut with a 60 ° dip, heading N14 ° W and approximate strength of 1.4 meters, projecting the mining in a conventional manner. Given the described needs to increase tonnage, reduce costs and increase safety, it was proposed to develop the “economic technical analysis to exploit the strike Daniela T680-Marsa using the sublevel stoping method.” The geological study indicated that there were no failures Relevant within the length of the mineralization, the geomechanical study showed that there were 3 main families of discontinuities: Family 1 58/149, Family 2 59/285 and Family 3 75/25, the latter being the most unfavorable to excavation. The characterization of the Rock Mass resulted in a GSI of 51 for the end walls and 43 for the strike; regular and fit to apply the method. The strenght induced in the end walls of the excavation were 9.67 MPa for the floor box and 5.50 MPa for the roof box, in the crown of the upper sublevel and vein was 118 MPa, all in conjunction with the stability number of 11.75 and 4.73 hydraulic radius indicated the stability of the cutting up to 40 m. Thus, the Safety Factor was 1.06 corroborating the stability but indicating the soon filling. The analysis of the vibrations for a distance of 12 meters where the BP 10192-S is located did not generate any damage, since a PPV of 126.9 mm / s was obtained being below the fracture extension limit (275mm / s). The efficiency of the sub-level tacking method is 20.25 TMS / H-Gdia compared to the 3.9TMS / H-Gdia of conventional cutting and filling. The Cash cost for the change of method brings a saving of 10.25 US $ / ONZ for the mining unit. It is more profitable to exploit by the sub-level chopping method than by the conventional cut and fill method. The operating cost of the pitting method by sublevels was $ / 17.84 / TMS and of the conventional cut and fill $ / 38.63 / TMS, with ore value of $ / 332.18 / TMS and $ / 348.45 / TMS respectively; The cost analysis of the sub-level chopping method compared to conventional cutting and filling resulted in a saving of $ / 1, 147,814.62 for 9 months of exploitation. 2 '886 592.4 Kg of eucalyptus wood will no longer be consumed with the change in method. This positive technical economic analysis determined the feasibility to implement the proposed method “Tajeo by sublevels in the narrow vein Daniela“
