Permanent monitoring of the reinjection wells behavior is essential for the produced water reinjection operations {PWRI) in fields where large volumes of water are handled; and in developing fields, such as the Bretaña Norte field, becomes critical beca use of the importance of an earty and correct identification of the negative effects that may occur on the potential of these wells and that cause an increase in operating costs, greater investments or a decrease in revenue; thus helping to make correct and timely decisions to restore or increase its injectivity. In the literature, many methods have been developed to analyze the injection wells realtime behavior using daily field information; seven of them will be presented in this research work and will be applied to the produced water reinjection wells from Bretaña Norte field. The methods that will be used are the Pressure versus Rate Plot, lnstantaneous lnjection lndex, Reciprocal lnjection lndex ar Hearn Plot, Hall Plot, Hall Derivative Plot, Slevinsky Method and Fracture lnjectivity lndicator. The main objective is to apply the analytical methods in arder to demonstrate that they allow to analyze the current and future behavior of the produced water reinjection wells of Bretana Norte field and they impact in a beneficia! way on the decisions taken by the f1eld operator. This paper shows the application of analytical methods in the reinjection wells of Bretaña Norte fteld, compares the advantages and disadvantages presented by each of them and analyzes the decisions taken, and their technical-economic impacts, based on the results obtained by applying these methods.
