One of the main drugs used in the treatment and clinical management of the complications that people hospitalized for respiratory failure and Covid-19 is the medicinal oxygen. This is qualified as a medicine in the denominated group as medicinal gases. The purpose of this Sufficiency Work analyze the medicinal storage service based on the consuption impact, in order to improve the medicine supply in the different health stablishments. To the development of this work, it has recopilated technical information about the oxiygen consume profile, location and selection of the oxygen storage equipment and the technical conditions for the fulfillment of the NFPA99 and WM-PR-922 norms. To evaluate the total oxygen, consume, it is considerate the estimation of the theorical consume for each health stablishment service; considerating the simultainety factors depending on the medical service area. In adittion, it is made the comparison with the monthly consume recorded by the oxygen supplier. Then based on the oxygen consumption profile, it is set out the main characteristics of the medicinal oxygen storage services that contemplate the selection of the area, location, container sizing and/or tank for the storage stock and vaporizer for peaks of oxygen consumption.
