This research work has its basis on the Integrated Management System or Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) of maintenance based on the methodology of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), which implementation will be applied on Public Sector Companies that works with heavy equipment and hasn’t developed a Maintenance Management System to allows to automate the calculation of the remaining hours to the next preventive maintenance of each equipment, the development of the followings indicators: Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) and Operational Availability. The ERP Systems are the upgrade of the Manufactory Resource Planning II (MRPII), which have new functions to include areas such as Engineering, Operations, Human Resources, Project Management, Logistics, etc. As a result, the new term ERP: Enterprise Resources Planning, defines the concept of Integrated Information System of Enterprise Management; this is the system that was designed in the following research work, which in a first stage and based on the TPM Methodology integrates the Maintenance and Operation areas.
