This thesis develops the INCREASE IN ELECTRIC POWER IN THE PROVINCES OF ACOMBAMBA AND ANGARAES, TAKING A HYDROELECTRIC MINICENTRAL AS THE SOURCE OF GENERATION, the mini central of passage is located in the river Casaví at an altitude of 2896 m.s.n.m. between the districts of Callanmarca and Acobamba, provinces of Angaraes and Acobamba respectively in the department of Huancavelica. The Casaví micro-basin belongs to the Huarpa or Urubamba sub-basin, which in turn belongs to the Mantaro river basin. For the water study, the rational method was used, using data from the SENAMHI rainfall station located in the Lircay district, as well as the use of the level curves to obtain the area of the sub-basin of the Casaví river. Finally, the availability of the water resource is obtained and the ecological flow is calculated considering the criteria proposed by the National Water Authority (ANA). The typical collection works for the mini hydroelectric power station are designed, using tables (NOZAKI, 1980), in addition to taking into account the geology of the area and the technical requirements to generate 1.7MW. The economic evaluation is carried out based on the investment costs of the mini-power plant from a design flow of 3.5 m3 / s and a net height of 60m, maintenance costs, civil works, electromechanical works among others. In order to evaluate the profitability and viability of the project as an Isolated Electrical System or as a system connected to the national interconnected electrical system (SEIN). The mini hydroelectric center Casaví, is a mini pass-through, capturing wáter by means of a diversion dam, which diverts the water through a grate to a desrripiador, to be then conducted to a landfill, followed by a sand trap and channel. driving to the loading chamber, where by means of a pressure pipe the water will be conducted to the Francis turbine located in the power house, finally the water will be returned to its natural channel. The Francis turbine will spin the 900RPM electric generator that will produce electrical power at a voltage level of 22.9kV between phases. The Casaví electrical substation will be equipped with arrival, transformation, exit and derivation cells to the auxiliary systems.
