This thesis was developed with the purpose of design a passenger boat that it uses solar energy to decrease the noises from the engines outboard and the use of diesel fuel, due to that in the present there are others options as the renewable energy, which are avoiding pollution on our planet, for example the solar energy is used to replace the use of diesel fuel, however, due to its limitations, it recently has used on boats in the world. The design of the passenger boat, began with a statistical data of boats from lquitos to obtain the main dimensions of the boat, then the 30 models were developed using the data of deadrise in found aluminum boats from the company Weldcraft, therefore, it was simulated through software Maxsurf to find the required power, in order to select an engine and calculate the amount of solar panels required. The result was a displacement hull boat, using 12 solar panels to an autonomy of 2 hours after the solar radiation is removed and with two Torqeedo electric engines, therefore this satisfy with the goals of reducing noise and the use of diesel fuel.
